A collaborative work of Mikhail Roginsky and Oleg Yakovlev 'A dog's life of one artist and other stories' is an example of what you might call a 'liver d’artiste', an artist's book. The genre that had emerged in the early 20th century in France thanks to the famous marchand and fine art expert Ambroise Vollard, and became well established in both European and American tradition. In Russia, though, it had remained marginal for decades.
